Join local herbalist, Hannah Sparks, for a family-friendly seed-planting workshop. Participants will learn about several common medicinal plants that work well in West Newbury gardens and pot up a container with calendula seeds to grow at home, a great herb for people looking to get started with growing herbs and wonderful for pollinators. It's an easy to grow plant that's visually and medicinally rewarding.

This program will take place outside, on the Library lawn, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be held inside the Library.
